What is the Regional Bicycle Advisory Committee (RBAC)? The RBAC is a forum for citizens, cyclists and organizations with an interest in bicycle transportation to advise the Chelan-Douglas Transportation Council and the cities and counties of the region on bicycle planning and initiatives.

The Greater Wenatchee Bicycle Master Plan is a blueprint for incorporating bicycle transportation as a viable and attractive option for the communities of Wenatchee, East Wenatchee, Rock Island and the adjacent unincorporated areas of Chelan and Douglas counties.

The Council will develop additional bicycle master plans to address other areas in Chelan and Douglas counties by the request of individual cities and towns. The Council also coordinates with school districts and Wenatchee Valley College in the development of "Safe Routes to Schools" plans and related projects to improve safety and encourage student bicycling and walking.
